01 · Homes, condos & high-rises

Residential moving,
your whole home mapped room by room.

Every home has one room that takes twice as long — the china cabinet,

or the shelf nobody wants to empty.

We walk it with you first,

and the route,

the crew plan and every transfer go into the written quote before move day.

Chapter 03 · The household

Room by room, the scope takes shape before the route begins.

If an item group is accepted, the room plan should connect it to the stated packing method, protection work and destination. Counts, seals, labels and sign-offs do not apply unless the assessed scope includes them.

Living room

The assessed scope identifies the sofa protection, lamp handling and destination placement.

The manifest

Packed, padded, accounted for.

No two homes hand us the same problem, so the plan is built from yours — the floor area, the stairs, how far the truck can park, the pieces that will not make a turn, and whatever the building asks for in writing. What the walkthrough finds is what the scope records: the crew, the equipment and the protection work included in your move.

WGM · Manifest — Residential MovingSealed · 01
  • 01A crew plan tied to the scope

Your written scope names the crew, the packing help and every handoff the walkthrough calls for — settled before the move is booked.

  • 02Pads and straps for the load

Moving blankets, stretch wrap, dollies and walk boards are matched to the route and the item list. The protection plan names which of them your move gets.

  • 03Floor protection at both ends

Hardwood, marble, a lobby that was refinished last month — floor, corner and pathway protection is chosen for the surfaces and the access at each end, then listed in the move plan.

  • 04Strata & elevator choreography

Elevator windows, lobby passes, floor protection and building documents are worked out with your building before move day, and their availability and timing land in writing.

  • 05Disassembly & reassembly

Beds, dining tables, the wardrobe that came in before the wall did — we flag them at the walkthrough. The quote states what gets taken apart, labelled and reassembled.

  • 06A documented manifest

Inventory and condition notes are recorded before the door closes, and the protection terms and applicable documents are in your hands before you book.

Protocol

From doorbell to beds built.

Walk the rooms

Twenty minutes on a call or a video walk captures what actually drives the plan — square footage, stairs, parking distance and the pieces that need two people and a wide turn. That assessment is what the written quote is built on.

Pack, seal, load

Where packing is in scope, the written plan sets the room labels, the inventory method and the protection steps. The load order then follows the item list and the route.

Place and settle

At the far end the room labels do the talking. Placement, floor protection and any agreed reassembly follow the destination plan and the written scope.

Houses, condos and strata towers. Route availability, crew plan, transfers and building requirements are confirmed for each move, in writing.

Questions

Asked before every move, answered in writing.

Do you move condos and high-rise strata buildings?

Share the building's elevator, protection and insurance-document requirements early. The written response should confirm which services and documents are available, along with their timing, before you book.

How far ahead should I book a residential move?

Lead time depends on the route, date, access and requested scope. Share the move window early; availability and any evening option should be confirmed in writing.

Do you supply boxes and packing materials?

Packing materials and packing help can be added to your scope. When they are, your quote names the carton types, the delivery timing, and the rooms and items assigned to the packing team.

Is my home covered while it travels?

Coverage terms, limits and worker requirements vary by move and jurisdiction. We send the current written documents that apply; inventory and condition notes support the move record but do not replace those terms.

Tell us about the house.

Tell us the route, the date and what needs care on the way. A coordinator reads it and writes back — a real person, in writing, before anything is booked.
