One vault. Three states.
The walkthrough shows three recorded states. Your booked inventory process checks the unit in, indexes every line and releases it against the same record.

The manifest
Held under the manifest.
Storage facilities and handling models differ, so your quote names the facility option, who handles each transfer, how inventory is recorded and which access or environmental controls are included.
01Conditions, documented
Temperature, humidity and monitoring features vary by facility. We state the conditions available for your booking in writing before anything is stored.
02Access and monitoring
The facility's access controls, monitoring method and any supervised-access requirements are confirmed for you in writing before anything goes in.
03A numbered manifest, in and out
Inventory is recorded on the way in and checked again on the way out. The written scope names the storage facility, the handoff points and any item-level exceptions.
04Transfer plan documented
The quote identifies whether transport is direct, who handles each transfer and where additional loading or staging may occur.
05Retrieval by appointment
Need one manifest line back? The facility's lead time, access process and any retrieval charges are confirmed with you before booking, not at the door.
06Storage terms to review
Storage and transit can carry different limits, exclusions or providers. We set out the written terms for both parts of the move so you can read them side by side.
Protocol
In, held, home again.
Document the load
The handling plan records wrapping, inventory and sealing steps, plus the booked route to the facility and any transfer points.
Rest on the manifest
The inventory method and the facility conditions available for your booking are documented for the storage period, along with the release process.
Deliver when ready
Any delivery crew and transfer require confirmation for the retrieval window; the written plan should also state how inventory is checked against the stored record.
Short-term holds, longer storage and renovation staging are subject to facility, route and date availability, all confirmed in the written quote.

Questions
Asked at the vault door.
Is the storage climate-controlled?
Environmental controls vary by facility and booking. Your written quote names the facility and the temperature, humidity and monitoring terms available for your storage.
Can I get things out while they're in storage?
Access is by the facility's current appointment and retrieval process. Tell us which inventory lines you may need, and we set out the lead time, supervision rules and any charges before you book.
How long can things stay?
Minimum terms, extensions and early-removal conditions vary by facility and quote. Share the likely date range so those terms can be confirmed in writing.
Who moves things in and out of the facility?
The crew and transfer plan can vary. Your written quote should identify who handles pickup, facility intake, retrieval and final delivery, along with the inventory record used at each point.
Next step
Tell us how long we're holding.
Tell us the route, the date and what needs care on the way. A coordinator reads it and writes back — a real person, in writing, before anything is booked.
